Certified Arborist Accreditations

TCIA Accreditation is a third-party consumer confidence verification program administered by the Tree Care Industry Association (TCIA) – American’s oldest and most respected tree care trade association.

CTSP teaches safety professionals strategies and tactics for changing the very culture of their organization. A CTSP acts as a safety “coach,” working to develop and nurture a culture of safety. The program provides the CTSP with a well-rounded education in safety concepts, plus the tools to effectively communicate these concepts.

To earn an ISA Certified Arborist® credential, you must be trained and knowledgeable in all aspects of arboriculture. ISA Certified Arborist® have met all requirements to be eligible for the exam, which includes three or more years of full-time, eligible, practical work experience in arboriculture and/or a degree in the field of arboriculture, horticulture, landscape architecture, or forestry from a regionally accredited educational institute.

The Wisconsin Arborist Association (WAA) was founded in 1964 by a small group of individuals dedicated to improving the knowledge and quality of the profession of arboriculture. Since that time the WAA has grown into a large organization of commercial, municipal, utility and academic arborists. WAA members serve Wisconsin by providing private and public arboriculture services through research, technology, and education, and promotes the professional practice of arboriculture to foster a greater worldwide awareness of the benefits of trees.
